Amaia Diaz

Architect from the ETSASS of the Basque Country.

After obtaining a Leonardo da Vinci scholarship, she began his professional career at Archer Architects architecture studio in London. During 5 years she develops her ability to lead, manage and execute medium-scale projects from the initial concept phases to the completion of the construction, through the resolution of all technical details.

In 2015 she obtained a postgraduate degree in professional practice and business management from the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture in London and registered in ARB.

 

Before founding TokituStudio in 2020, the opportunity arises to make the leap within the architecture sector and she works for 5 years at Heatherwick Studio where she co-leads large-scale international projects highlighting the new Singapore Airport Terminal 5 for Changi Group between others. During this time, she gains extensive experience in user-centered design, managing large creative teams, and collaborating with international consultants from various disciplines.

She is  lecturer at IED Kunsthal university in Bilbao since 2021.

Jokin Astorkia

Architect from the European University of Madrid.

 

After concluding his studies, and in order to explore other creative areas, he immerses himself in the fashion industry creating and presenting various collections.

 

In addition, he collaborates with Buque Estudio, a communication company, where he is responsible for the design and management of events, among which the Polo Cup Engel & Völkers stand out.

 

In 2017 he completed a Master in Service Design in the H2I Institute where he is able to learn from other disciplines such as marketing and sociology, focusing on the user experience.

Applying all these concepts, he collaborates with the Hotel Castillo del Buen Amor in the reconceptualization of the event service, taking charge of the execution of 38 events from the marketing point of view to their spatial design.

 

Before founding TokituStudio in 2020, he returned to architecture working at Heatherwick Studio in London for 2 years. He was part of the design team for the new Singapore Airport Terminal 5 among others.

 

He is  lecturer at IED Kunsthal university in Bilbao since 2021
